As part of Dolgeville's "Christmas on Main Street" event, there will be a "FURRY FRIENDS PHOTOS WITH SANTA," at the George Ward Memorial Library on North Main Street in Dolgeville. Bring your pets as well as your children for professional photographs by Melissa Strait with a variety of holiday backdrops to choose from and a chance to have their picture taken with Santa Claus. For a donation of $10.00 you will receive an emailed digital image or for a $20.00 donation you receive two 5"x7" printed photos and an emailed image. Come enjoy an afternoon of a traditional High Tea (three courses) and readings of short stories appropriate to the Holiday season. A Russian Folktale, an English Legend and a story by local author Terry Berkson. Take some time away from the shopping, gift wrapping and baking and spend a few hours relaxing with tea, food and entertainment. A free will offering (suggested donation of $9.00) will be taken and divided between the church and the Jordanville Public Library. Sharon Springs Parade Of Lights

Location: Village of Sharon Springs – Central School

Parade of Lights – sure to be a fun event for the entire family that brings holiday cheer to Sharon Springs and the surrounding community. Starting at 6 PM before the parade, there will be a tree lighting in the front yard of the school, laying of the memorial wreath by the American Legion and entertainment by the Sharon Springs Central School choir. Enjoy lighted vehicles, entertainment and walkers dressed in their Victorian holiday best with lanterns, as the parade winds throughout the upper Village of Sharon Springs. The parade will begin at the Sharon Springs Central School, right on Route 20 to Main Street and end at the Sharon Springs Fire Station. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served and children can meet Santa Claus and receive gift bags provided by the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
