On Saturday, September 7th, Katlyn Pierce was involved in a horseback riding incident. During this fall, she sustained serious injuries including a fractured pelvis and she fractured both of her hips. She was taken to Albany Medical Center and has since undergone surgeries. She has a long road of rehabilitation ahead of her. She has also incurred several medical expenses. Katlyn is a 23 year old single mother of a beautiful, energetic two year old boy who misses his mother at home with him. Once she leaves Albany Medical Center, she will be sent to a rehab facility to continue her recovery. She will be unable to work as a Vet Tech at the Johnstown Animal Clinic during her recovery. Her family and friends are hosting a fun-filled benefit the weekend of October 4th – 6th at Meco BallPark.
