The 7th annual Winter Craft Bazaar is at the Marie Curie Elementary School, 9 Brice Street, in Amsterdam. Over 40 crafters and vendors, free kids pictures with Santa, and food available.
As part of Dolgeville's "Christmas on Main Street" event, there will be a "FURRY FRIENDS PHOTOS WITH SANTA," at the George Ward Memorial Library on North Main Street in Dolgeville. Bring your pets as well as your children for professional photographs by Melissa Strait with a variety of holiday backdrops to choose from and a chance to have their picture taken with Santa Claus. For a donation of $10.00 you will receive an emailed digital image or for a $20.00 donation you receive two 5"x7" printed photos and an emailed image. The Mayfield Historical Society's 28th Annual Christmas Open House is at The Rice Homestead. Live music, hot mulled cider and cookies, its famous homemade pie sale, tours of the home, and weaving and spinning demonstrations will be held. This is a free event. 328 Riceville Road in Mayfield. Dolgeville Troop 18 Boy Scouts are holding a Christmas event in the High School cafeteria to help raise money for those affected by the Halloween flood. So much has been taken from these families and we want to help in any way possible. So bring the family out and have some fun, all while helping those in need! All proceeds will go to help flood victims. Activities will be: Pictures with Santa, make your own ice cream sundae, Chinese Auction. $5 entry. They’ll have refreshments, raffles, homemade wreaths and kissing balls, plus pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus with your pets or kids. The Jordanville Federated Church is continuing its series of "Literary Teas" in the Social Hall of the church at 209 Main Street, Jordanville. Come enjoy an afternoon of a traditional High Tea (three courses) and readings of short stories appropriate to the Holiday season. A Russian Folktale, an English Legend and a story by local author Terry Berkson. Take some time away from the shopping, gift wrapping and baking and spend a few hours relaxing with tea, food and entertainment. All are encouraged to attend.
