Fundraiser at the Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club. Please come out and support little Rori and her family.
Rori was born September 2, 2018 and just days after coming home she needed to be rushed to Albany Medical Center. She was having seizures — test after test, still no definate answers to why. Doctors told her parents if they didn't find out soon this was 90% fatal. Miraculously, Rori started responding to anti-seizure medication. With the road ahead unknown, Dustin and Sam could bring her home. Genetic testing results show she has an EXTREMELY rare gene mutation GABBr2, which affects her brain. They're not sure of the severity yet because she is so young, but she will have some sort of mental disability and a form of epilepsy. Rori was doing so well, hitting her 4-month milestone. Recently, Rori started having seizures again, so back to the hospital they went. This time, they can't get the seizures under control. Right now, she is intubated and under heavy sedation, the only way to settle her brain down. The doctors say she might have to have brain surgery. Please help Dustin and Sam out. They maxed out their health insurance and with Dustin the sole provider unable to work right now. They need help with hospital bills and lodging expenses. Please considering helping them out!
