Jordanville Federated Church is holding an “All You Can Eat”
breakfast buffet in the Social Hall, 209 Main Street. Pancakes, scrambled eggs,
ham, biscuits and gravy, your favorite breakfast drinks and
more will be served at a cost of $8 for adults, $4
for kids 5-12 with under 5’s free.
The beautiful new Aura Event Center is having a craft and vendor fair. Many booths, raffles & 50-50, gourmet food, and fun for the kids: characters, face painting and other kids activities. The Aura Event Center is at337 West Dominick Street in Rome.
The Historic Nellis Tavern Benefit Antique Show and Sale is
at the Arkell Museum 2 Erie Boulevard, Canajoharie. There will be 25 dealers with
great collectables at bargain prices. Admission is $5 with all
proceeds going to the Nellis Tavern restoration fund.
The annual Soup Sampler fundraiser in the village of Glen will take place at the Glen firehouse on Auriesville Road. The event is sponsored jointly by the Glen Reformed Church and the Town of Glen Volunteer Fire Department. This year the Soup Sampler will benefit the Capital Region chapter of CURE SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) in honor of the Kelly family of Glen. Twenty soups will be featured, and in addition there will be a bake sale. Tickets will be available at the door: $7 for adults and $4 for children 6-12 years old. Children aged 5 and under are free. There’s a Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese Auction at the Richmondville Fire House, 288 Main Street Richmondville. All proceeds go to the athletes of Triple Threat All-stars Cheerleading. Adults $8.00, children 12 and under $4.00. Take a chance on some amazing auction items, too.
Club Monarch in Yorkville & the Mohawk Valley Lunch Club will be hosting the 2nd annual “Auction for Action,” a live charity auction. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and performance from the “Bell Choir” of Pathfinder Village followed by local pianist and musician Keith James. The Mohawk Valley Lunch Club has been donating to local nonprofit organizations in and around Oneida County for many years and have benefitted such organizations as Pathfinder Village, Feed our Vets, The Kurt Wyman Park, The Rome and Herkimer Humane Societies and The Abraham House.
