The Savage Souls Riding Club of Fort Plain is hosting a benefit for Josh LaVeck’s family, at the Canajoharie Moose Club, to help pay for funeral expenses & provide for Josh's girls. There will be a Chinese Auction, DJ, 50/50, raffle, food & much more. The tickets for the benefit are $15/person, $25/couple & 12 & under are free.

Charleston Historical Society will host Guest Speaker and local author Christine Oarr Eggleston. A lifelong Mohawk Valley resident, Ms. Eggleston is the author of the Murder in the Mohawk Valley series. As a retired teacher, former journalist and local town historian, she combines both her careers and her hobby in penning true tales of murder, deceit and mayhem. Christine will have her books available for sale and signing. The Charleston Historical Society’s headquarters is the former First Baptist Church of Charleston, on Polin Road in the Town of Charleston. Follow NYS Route 30A south outside of Fultonville to the Town of Charleston. Take a right off Route 30A on to Polin Road to the Charleston Historical Society's headquarters.
