Murder is on the menu at the Herkimer County Historical Society's Annual Dinner Meeting, at the Miner's Table, 4579 Route 28, north of Herkimer. Herkimer County historian James Greiner will be the guest speaker. He will be talking about murders of Herkimer County, the topic of a new book he collaborated on with the Historical Society called "Murder and Mischief in Herkimer County," due out in November. Greiner will also be talking about his own new book coming out in September of this year, "A Woman Condemned: The Tragic Case of Anna Antonio," based on a true murder case in Albany. Antonio was electrocuted on August 9, 1934 in the Sing Sing electric chair for hiring someone to murder her husband. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and dinner at 6:00 p.m., featuring prime rib, fish platter, and a pasta-eggplant dish, with dessert. The cost is $25.00.
