Artists and photographers are invited to participate in the Utica Art Association’s 1st Open Art Show from July 8 – 31, 2019 at the Utica Public Library Gallery, 303 Genesee Street, Utica. An open to the public Artist Reception will be held Friday, July 12th, 4 – 5:30pm. Only 55 entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Open to professional and amateur artists and photographers, 18 years and older. One entry per artist. Only original work created by the entrant are eligible. Deliver on July 1, 3:30 – 5:30pm at the Utica Public Library 2nd Floor Art Gallery. Artist must fill out the prospectus Entry Forms. There is a $10 Entry Fee for UAA Members, $15 Entry Fee for Nonmembers. Utica Art Association (UAA) memberships are $20 for individuals, $30 for couples, $150 for lifetime membership, and $8 for students. The UAA will accept new memberships and renewals with your entry fee. A judge will choose one work from each category for a $50 Award: 1) Oil and Acrylic; 2) Watercolor; 3) Pastel, Drawing, Digital, and Mixed Media; 4) Traditional and Non-Traditional Photography; and one work for a $100 Best of Show Award.
