The man arrested for setting a house fire that killed a former firefighter is going to be released from jail, without ever going to trial. Terrence Truitt was expected to be released from the Otsego County Jail Monday.
District Attorney John Muehl said Truitt isn’t necessarily not involved, and that he couldn’t get into evidence, and says it would not be ethical to keep him in jail. Muehl says they’ve developed another main suspect.
