The Utica man who tore down his Greek Revival building that was in Utica’s scenic and historic district, on Varick Street, is going to trial. Steven Mancuso’s attorney says he had a letter from the city, telling him to demolish the building.
The city attorney says yes, that’s true, but another letter warning that he needed proper permitting followed right after. Mancuso’s trial is July 9th.
