Save-A-Lot parking lot in Fort Plain. Boyers Chicken Barbecue fundraiser with bake sale and lemonade stand, 12:30 till sold out. Proceeds will support a local boy with Goldenhar Syndrome. All proceeds will go towards medical expenses.

Support local Veterans at the pork dinner at the AmVets post on Route 163 in Fort Plain. Sliced pork or pulled pork sandwich with salt potatoes, corn, and macaroni salad. Eat in or take out for $10.
Pink The Park Night
The American Cancer Society is teaming up with the Utica Blue Sox baseball club to raise funds and show support for local breast cancer survivors during their ‘Pink the Park’ game, as the ballclub takes on Auburn at 6:30 PM at Murnane Field. The Utica Blue Sox players will be wearing special pink-themed uniforms. Those jerseys will be auctioned off during the game. Fans can bid on their favorite players’ jersey before the game by visiting the Utica Blue Sox website at www.uticabluesox.net or at the ballpark the night of the game. Bidding begins at $50 per jersey. The winning bidder will receive the jersey and a photo with the player after the game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game, as well. Local cancer survivors are admitted to the game for free. Special recognition will also be made to cancer survivors before the game.
