Join us for our 4th annual 5k road race fundraiser for the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department. The race starts at 9am on Palisades Drive (along the side of the Fire Station) and the award ceremony will be held at 10am to award the cash prizes to the Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female finishers. Medals will also be awarded to the Top Age Group finishers. Age groups are: Under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Free event t-shirts will be given to the first 75 registrants.  Sign up registration fee is $25 — $5.00 DISCOUNT FOR ALL ACTIVE OR RETIRED MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS. Day of race sign-ups will be available only from 7:30am to 8:30am (race bib pickup same time). Thank you for your support of the East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department, and have fun!

The inaugural Christopher Newtown Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the MV Golf & Event Center in Herkimer. Christopher was an honor student at Central Valley CSD, and took his own life last October. Honor Christopher on what would have been his 16th birthday, enjoying a round of golf – a sport he loved and spent countless hours playing.
