Former New Hartford CFO Charged with Wire Fraud and Money Laundering

A former CFO at a New Hartford company is under arrest for allegedly stealing $776,000 from his firm to invest, partly, in African diamonds.

Michael Bartusek is charged with wire fraud and money laundering. Federal prosecutors didn’t disclose the name of the new hartford company.

Bartusek now lives in Fairport, outside of Rochester.
