UTICA – Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente will meet with county executives around the state, from both parties, to talk about counties’ needs for federal funding as they continue to lead the local response to the pandemic.
It’s a digital press conference, at 12 noon.
Picente held an in-person press conference Wednesday, discussing the virus and its financial devastation to counties, and the dire need for financial help from the federal government.
Picente said Oneida County has taken a $20 million loss in Oneida Nation gaming revenue, sales tax revenue and money from the state.
