UTICA – A visible milestone in construction of the Downtown Utica Hospital has been reached.
On Monday, crews placed steel beams to set the framework for the new facility.
The hospital is expected to be complete by early 2023.
Meanwhile, the No Hospital Downtown group opposing the project is continuing to pursue a lawsuit to put the project on hold. A judge’s ruling on the merits of the case is expected in the weeks ahead.
