Tenney Leads with 69 Percent in GOP Primary Vote for Brindisi Seat

Former congresswoman Claudia Tenney is declaring victory in the Republican Primary for the 22nd District Congressional seat.

Tenney is leading with 69 percent of the current vote total over her opponent, George Phillips, who has 31 percent.

However, there are still thousands of absentee ballots to be received and counted in the race.

But Tenney says she’s looking forward to taking her seat back from Democrat Congressman, Anthony Brindisi in November.
