UTICA – The United Way of the Mohawk Valley has opened a child care center, through the Utica Empire State Poverty Reduction Initiative Project.
The center is on the first floor of the DeSales Center, on Genesee Street.
It’s been in the works for two years. The center is open 6 am until 6 pm, and will eventually add evening and weekend hours. The center will employ 30 people.
