Utica Employee Charged with Assault After Shots Fired, Victim Hit with Gun

UTICA – A Utica DPW employee is on paid administrative leave after being arrested in connection with a shots fired incident on Lincoln Avenue this week.

Fifty-year-old Bradley Jones is charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim told police he was in an argument with someone who fired a shotgun in his direction on Tuesday, then hit him in the face with the gun.
