Whitesboro Meeting Raises Hopes for Home Buyouts Following Halloween Floods

WHITESBORO – A $3.7 million Hazard Grant Program is giving hope to Whitesboro flood survivors.

Those who suffered damage from the Halloween floods attended a meeting last night on the village green.

Some submitted their names for consideration, but the mayor said it could take years to get a buyout.

Multiple communities are competing for those funds.
