The crossover superstar known for hits like “Wichita Lineman” and “Rhinestone Cowboy” was born on this date in 1936. In addition to his solo work, this Arkansas native was also a temporary touring member of The Beach Boys in 1964 and ‘65. He died of Alzheimer’s in 2017 at age 81. Can you name him?
