Utica Police Have Taken 9 Illegally-Possessed Handguns off the Streets Since the First of December

Since December first, Utica Police have taken nine illegally-possessed handguns off the city’s streets. The high numbers were achieved, in part, by working with the Mohawk Valley Crime Analysis Center, to identify and be more present in hot spots.
