After Substantial Lawsuit Settlement, Attorney Bob Keach & Officer Thomas Scarafile detail Alleged ‘Conspiracy’ of Revenge between Whitesboro Police, DA’s Office and Village Trustee

Attorney Robert Keach and former Whitesboro police Officer Thomas Scarafile detail the alleged ‘conspiracy’ of revenge between Whitesboro Police through Jeff Kopec and Pete Sobel, then-Village Trustee Pat O’Connor and then-Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara’s Office to ‘maliciously’ prosecute Scarafile in 2021 for a DWI stop involving his ex-girlfriend Kathleen Scalise, which ended with Scarafile being acquitted of official misconduct and harassment charges, and then a substantial legal settlement last fall that required Oneida County, the Village of Whitesboro and his former girlfriend to pay Scarafile $336,000.
